The Installation Tips about Hair-Suction Line Filter

Compressor manufacturers recommend installing the suction pipe filterdriers protect their material against contamination in the system after wear on the left. Suction line Filter Driers are to protect against moisture and organic or inorganic acids, as a result of depletion or chemical changes in the cooling system and oil. They are particularly suitable for the cleaning system after a burn, or the important work has been done to the system.

Here, courtesy of Emerson, a look at safety and tips for installation in the dryer suction line filter.

First read the instructions carefully. Failure to follow instructions could result in failure of the filter-drier, or system damage.
The second system should be pumped down and therefore deflated before attempting to install. This can cause injury.
A third extreme caution must be used in the treatment of contaminated refrigerant. Failure to do so can result in injury.
Fourth not remove the protective caps until ready for installation. The protective caps should unscrew the plastic caps are removed when SAE connections, or pulling with pliers to ODF connections.
Quinta Do not install the access to all welds are complete faucet. Install before welding can damage valve seals operations.
The sixth filter dryer can be installed in any position. For best results, filterdrier research as closely as possible, it is proposed to the entrance of the compressor installation before the vibration of the drops. If the piping arrangement led to an excessive load on the Pipe Fitting, filter drier must be backed by adequate support.
Install the seventh with the arrow in the direction of movement (towards the compressor). reflux can cause damage.
Eighth Clean and deburr the pipe ends to provide a good surface for welding.
Ninth with an inert gas such as nitrogen, passing through the lines while brazing to prevent formation of copper oxides.
10 welds at high temperatures can be used. Normal precautions should be taken by the flame of filterdrier Shell. Use the blocks cold, damp cloth or other suitable heat screen for the filter-dryer.
11 When the container is cooled, check valves installed with the available tools and replace the lids. Do not load until the system enters the valve are installed.
12 To avoid line twist of refrigerant, the use of an apartment key back online SAE connectors supplied.
13 Although the test system for leaks after installation. This could lead to a loss of coolant.
Emerson 14th suction line filter-dryers are labeled for use in the following refrigerant until the pressure indicated on the product: CFC, HFC, HCFC, mineral oils, Poe and alkybenzene determined.

The use is not an aspiration Emerson filterdriers liquid medium without the written permission of Emerson Climate Technologies, Flow Controls Division, Department of Engineering of applications. Unlisted use may cause a chemical decomposition of the filter dryer.

Dependable flood protection with ACO backflow valves

Sep 29, 2008 – ACO Building Drainage, the built environment division of drainage specialist ACO Technologies, has launched its latest range of valves designed to prevent flooding into private or commercial premises resulting from sewer backflows. The ACO JUNIOR® and TRIPLEX® models are suitable for grey water applications and QUATRIX® models specifically for black water applications and are all designed for simple installation, reliable operation, easy maintenance and long life.

All ACO backflow valves offer dependable flood protection. Designed in accordance to BS EN 13564, they feature two closure devices so that backflow is prevented even if one device fails to close due to the presence of detritus build-up. The manually operated emergency device incorporated into the second flap enables the pipe system to be shut off in emergencies or long periods of building non-use.

The ACO Junior combined drainage gully and backflow valve is ideal for utility rooms, basements or plant rooms in new-build or refurbishment projects. Connecting to 110mm diameter drain pipe it is extremely versatile, featuring an optional 50mm diameter back inlet for connection to an appliance, shower or basin.

ACO TRIPLEX® and QUATRIX® backflow valves are for grey water and black water applications respectively. Both systems are lightweight and accommodate 110mm and 160mm diameter drain pipes. Additionally, both systems are available with or without factory fitted access chambers for quick and easy installation as an alternative to site-built brick access chambers.

Featuring a high torque dc motor drive, QUATRIX® models ensure reliable operation even in the most polluted black water conditions. Activated by a pressure sensor located in the valve body, the powered motorised flap closes automatically in the presence of a backflow and opens when the backflow abates. The remotely located control box provides visual and audible indication of backflow and valve status at all times. In the event of mains power failure, a battery back-up facility ensures reliable operation for 24 hours until mains power is restored.

Rated at IP67, the QUATRIX® motor/valve body can be used reliably in locations that are susceptible to storm water flooding as all electrical connections remain unaffected. The IP56 rated control box is ideal for use in basements, utility rooms and plant room locations. Passive contacts are provided for easy connection to Building Management Systems further enhancing installation surveillance.

SHCRI.COM:Research Report of Chinese Valve Industry, 2009

May 19, 2009 – The valves are devices used to make the medium (liquid, gas and powder) in the pipes or equipments flow, stop and enable to control the flow volumes, indispensable fluid control devices in the national economic departments, such as petroleum, chemical industry, power plants, long-distance pipelines, shipbuilding, nuclear industry, various low temperature engineering, space navigation and marine oil.

America is the largest valve provider in the world. According to the statistics from Manufacturers Standardization Society of the Valve and Fitting Industry, there are more than 110 valves enterprises with the annual output values exceeding 4 billion USD. With the intensification of the globalization of American enterprises, American valve enterprises begin to merge the local and other enterprises in the world so as to expand the market shares and strengthen the competitiveness. Due to the increasing acquisitions among the enterprises, American valve enterprises have been a part of some large multinational company.

In recent years, with the fiercer and fiercer competitions in the global valve market, many international outstanding valve manufacturers have closed down their factories in North America, Europe and Japan and shifted their factories to China, India, South Korea and Middle Europe with the purposes of cutting down the manufacturing costs and gaining more sales profits.

With the intensification of the exploitation and utilization of the oil and gas in China, Chinese valve market will be increased sharply, making most valve manufacturers set up the factories in China and the speed-up of the demands for the valves in China. Recently, China is striving to narrow the gap with the US. With several years of development, the number of the value enterprises in China stands the first place in the world, which is about 6000 large and small valve enterprises, enabling to provide 3,500 varieties in 40 thousand specifications. In 2008, the scale of Chinese valve market reached 7 billion USD. With the influences of international financial crisis, the growth speed of the valve market was cut down, but still up by 10% compared with 2007.it is predicted that China is expected to surpass America and become the largest valve market in the world in 2010.

From the aspect of the products, Chinese valve industry have had the ability of producing more than a dozen category products, such as gate valves, cut-off valves, ball valves, adjusting valves, safety valves, check valves, throttle valves, plug valves, pressure release valves, diaphragm valves, draining valves and emergency cut-off valves etc with the highest and lowest temperatures between 570℃ and -196℃, at the highest pressure of 600 Mpa and in the largest latus rectum of 5.35 thousand millimeters.

As a whole, mass high-end valves in the domestic market still depend on imports, and most domestic produced valves belong to low added value and labor-intensive products and few has the international advanced technical level. At present, various valves produced by Chinese manufacturers have the shortcomings of inner or external leak, inferior quality in the externals, short in performance, inflexible in operation and unreliable in the electric and pneumatic devices etc, partial; of which are only equivalent to the international level in the beginning of 1980s. Some valves, used in the high temperature or pressure devices or crucial devices need importing. Besides, there are still large gaps between Chinese and foreign valve industry in the fields of industry structures, industry chains and professional level.

The major reasons that cause Chinese local valves are in inferior quality lie in: sharp expansion of the market scale, weak in mass technical strengths, numerous small manufacturing enterprises in poor equipments, imitation products and short of corn technologies etc.

China needs to import more than 1 billion USD of the valves so as to meet the market demands. Taking transmitting the natural gas from the western areas to East China for example, mass valves used in the main lines are monopolized by the foreign funded enterprises. In the branch line bidding, only the local enterprises, including Chengdu Chengfeng Valve Co., Ltd and Zigong High Pressure Valve Co., Ltd win the bidding.

At present, Chinese valve market is rapid expansion and has huge market potential. First, the procurement amounts of the valves reach over 100 billion USD for China’s South-North Water Diversion Project only from the suburb to the urban district about 70 kilometers, the whole length of which reach thousand of kilometers. The demands for the valves can be imagined. Besides, many other projects also have huge demands for the valves, such as the transmitting the natural gas from the western areas to East China, reforms of the old industrial bases, pipeline constructions in the cities, disposal of the polluted water and agricultural water conservancy constructions etc. there is a promising perspective for Chinese valve market, which attracts massive investors’ attentions at home and abroad.
