The operating principle of these solenoid valves is basically different from that of the other series. The pinching device is actuated by a solenoid operator and intercepts the fluid by pinching or releasing a tubing in soft silicon (or some other suitable materials). The fluid can flow in either direction with a high rate of flow, without turbulences and without dead spaces. Thus, pinch solenoid valves can control all the fluids that are compatible with the tubing material, protecting the fluid from all contamination, including temperature changes.
These characteristics, plus the fact that the tubings are extremely easy to install and replace, make this solenoid valve suitable for a wide variety of uses, particularly the control of physiological, medical and food fluids. Also for these series 2/2 or 3/2 normally closed or open are available plus miniaturised version and latching models.
